Henry Overman on what Brexit means for regional economies

Published on February 17, 2018

Henry Overman (LSE) discusses which areas of the UK will be affected the most by Brexit. He claims that UK’s exit from the block will be felt most in those areas that trade a lot with the European Union and where the barriers to trade are going to be much larger under the new arrangements. Brexit will hit regional economies reliant on finance, insurance and other service industries.
